The Dark Tears
“In shadows deep, where dreams do weep,
A man with burdens, heavy to keep;
His path, a maze of trials and tests,
Each step a struggle, each breath a quest;
No job's embrace, no solace found,
His efforts futile, hopes unbound;
Rejected, dejected, time and again,
His spirit wanes, his strength feels pain;
On trains he rides, tears unspoken,
Heart heavy with promises broken;
No family hand to hold him tight,
Alone with his small support he battles the endless night;
For his child's need, a medicine sought,
But empty pockets, a cruel plot;
Desperation's grip, a tightening snare,
In the abyss of despair, he's ensnared;
With every door slammed shut in his face,
The shadows whisper, urging disgrace;
To end it all, to stop the pain,
To silence the echoes of life's cruel game;
But amidst the darkness, a glimmer may shine,
A beacon of hope, a lifeline divine;
For though the night may seem unkind,
In the heart's recesses, a light to find;
To those who struggle, burdened and sore,
Know that you're not alone anymore;
Reach out, speak out, let voices soar,
For in unity, we find strength and more;”
